Meet Melody Mate — the purpose-built ice cream van chime unit and Bluetooth player that makes your rounds sound brilliant and feel effortless. Engineered for real-world van life, it delivers instant song selection with a smooth rotary control, crystal-clear playback, and rock-solid auto-repeat so a tune loops perfectly until you stop it. A bright OLED screen presents a clean “Now Playing” view with handy status info at a glance.

Switch to Bluetooth Mode for events and announcements—pause the chimes and stream from your phone or computer in seconds. Your preferences (like repeat mode and units) are saved, so every power-on starts exactly how you like it.

Out of the box, Melody Mate will come with the choice of 174 songs, This list will grow over time - including real-sounding classics reminiscent of the old Harvins, playful chiptunes, and neutral keyboard themes. Prefer your own track? Set it to any song you want, leave it, and forget it. It works just like the boxes you’re used to: when the unit gets power, it can play a pre-selected startup song—so you retain the standard function of your van without changing your routine. And with a powerful 60W amplifier, it comfortably drives most (if not all) van speakers, as well as standard hi-fi style house speakers if required.

We’ve tested Melody Mate extensively on the bench and in vehicles, refined the interface, and locked the design. It’s now moving into a manufacturing run, with dependable hardware, tidy 12V installation, and firmware tuned for everyday routes, school runs, and busy summer evenings.
